Jurgen Klopp admitted Liverpool did not put in a “special” performance. “In moments it was a good performance but Real Madrid was for the whole game in control”, Klopp admitted.
Liverpool only mustered one shot in the second half. The Liverpool boss admitted that Real Madrid deserved to go through. “They were the better team.”
Klopp was asked about “You’ll Never Walk Alone” played at full-time in Spain. “It is a nice gesture, we are two heavyweights in international football.”
“It is massive task for us”, Klopp said on qualifying for the competition next season.
