Liverpool have allowed many players out on loan this season, including the likes of Calvin Ramsay, Marcelo Pitaluga, and Fabio Carvalho, who is on his way to Hull City.
The club have shown a willingness to allow opportunities for youth to gain minutes and experience elsewhere, with one more Red set to be granted a chance to impress elsewhere.
The reliable Lewis Bower has reported that Vitezslav Jaros is set to be announced as a Sturm Graz player on loan for the rest of the season from Liverpool.
The Austrian side need a goalkeeper after Kjell Scherpen, who was loaned in from Brighton, suffered a cruciate ligament tear.
Sturm Graz’ sporting director, Andreas Schicker, said of Jaros:
“Vitezslav Jaros, among other things, competed in the U21 European Championship as a regular player, with him we were able to quickly find an excellent solution.”
Jaros will join up with a training camp in Catez, Slovenia having already trained with Sturm Graz before.
The 22-year-old Czech goalkeeper joined Liverpool FC from Slavia Prague in 2017.
He also spent time on loan at Stockport County during the 2022/23 [transfermarkt].
Sturm Graz is currently 2nd in the Austrian Bundesliga, two points behind league leaders RB Salzburg.
Hopefully Jaros can return with some more experience under his belt, and a winners medal for the Austrian Bundesliga if he’s lucky.
