Barcelona will reportedly be forced to sell several valuable players in the summer in order to ease their financial woes.
A report from Spanish publication Sport.es claims that the Catalans may sell Ferran Torres, Raphinha, Franck Kessie, Frenkie de Jong, Eric Garcia and and Ansu Fati.
Fati’s name has been linked to Liverpool more than once over the last few months. The youngster has only managed to score 6 goals this season and has failed to nail down a starting place Xavi’s starting XI, despite showing remarkable potential in his first few seasons.
The report states that Barcelona have put a price tag of around €60 million (£53 million) on Fati, who would be a huge marquee signing in the summer for any club who brings the young forward in.
Jurgen Klopp may seek to replace the departing Roberto Firmino by bringing in a younger player, but many would argue Firmino’s replacements are already at the club, with Diogo Jota and Cody Gakpo both able to play in the middle or on the wings.
