After yesterday’s report from Dario La Capital in Argentina a second outlet, O Jogo in Portugal via Sports Witness, have reported today that Liverpool have a pre-agreement with Benfica’s Enzo Fernandez.
The report goes on to say that Liverpool have Enzo Fernandez ‘in their hands‘.
O Jogo also state that Liverpool are willing to match any rivals offer for Fernandez.
According to reports River Plate would be entitled to 25% of any fee Benfica receive for Enzo Fernandez. Therefore they could earn €30,000,000 if Enzo Fernandez does indeed cost a club €120,000,000.
This transfer story is running parallel to numerous reports that Liverpool are leading the race for Jude Bellingham. It is unlikely Liverpool would sign both unless new investment arrives prior to next summer.
