Liverpool have turned down the opportunity to sign Leandro Trossard.
Football journalist Ben Jacobs made the claim today on Twitter.
Trossard has been offered to Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle and Manchester United over the past two months. #LFC and #MUFC made it clear very quickly they had no interest. #NUFC also prefer a younger option.

Trossard is a free agent in the summer.
The Belgian international ran riot at Anfield in October with a fantastic hat-trick.
The 28-year-old’s agent has been offering him to a number of Premier League clubs according to Jacobs with Tottenham having a ‘genuine interest’.
Trossard has scored an impressive 9 goals already this season for Brighton.
Manchester United also turned down the opportunity according to Jacobs.
Liverpool have been heavily linked with Moisés Caicedo, Trossard’s Brighton team mate.
