Liverpool target shines as England hit Iran for 6
A fee north of £100M now looks a certainty if and when Jude Bellingham returns to England.

Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham announced himself on the biggest stage of them all with a commanding display in a performance that oozed class, guile and composure.
The 19-year-old Liverpool target was the best player on the pitch as England hit Iran for six. Bellingham opened the scoring with a glancing header on the 35th minute. Soon after the floodgates opened.
Jude Bellingham’s price has just increased by £20M.

Dortmund resisted the temptation to cash in on their coveted star in the summer and if today’s performance is anything to go by it will prove to be yet another smart piece of business by the Germans.
A fee north of £100M now looks a certainty if and when Bellingham returns to England. Real Madrid have been linked but some reports in Spain have poured cold water on the rumour.
Liverpool are crying out for an athletic type, box-to-box midfielder who can penetrate defences and Bellingham fits that requirement like a glove.
Dortmund will be hoping for similar performances for the rest of the tournament, Julian Ward will be hoping Bellingham’s performances won’t put him out of Liverpool’s reach financially.
