At the moment all the news surrounding Liverpool is of course about how Jurgen Klopp announced that he would be leaving the club at the end of this season.

There have already been several rumours about managers joining the club in the summer and with a massive reshuffle at the club for the first time in nine years a lot of things can happen.

The Liverpool players will be concentrating on winning every major honour right now as they still have a chance of winning four trophies in Klopp’s last season at the club.

However, the club will now be planning for the future without Klopp and they will need to do that sooner rather than later so the players have the best possible platform to continue challenging for trophies once he has left.

The Reds have been linked with several players over the last couple of months but any of those links may be thrown into doubt however the club does tend to have targets that everyone is agreed on so there is a chance they are already looking at some players for the summer.

Chelsea want to sign Fulham’s Antonee Robinson from Fulham but face competition from Liverpool

A recent report has suggested that Chelsea are going to make a move for Antonee Robinson but they will face competition from Liverpool in the summer.

There has supposedly been talks held with Robinson and Liverpool during this window as at one point it looked like they were very light on numbers in that position of the pitch due to the fact Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas were out injured.

However Joe Gomez has played every game in that position since Tsimikas got injured whilst Liverpool also recalled Owen Beck to make sure they had cover during that period.

As of right now Andy Robertson is back to full fitness as he was back on the bench against Fulham in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final.

There has also been plenty of pictures of Tsimikas being back in training so after his collarbone injury it would seem that he is nearly back.

Whether Liverpool are still going to be monitoring the 26-year-old remains to be seen and it will depend on whether whoever is appointed believes that Robinson would be a good signing.

If it Alonso then he may consider it due to the fact he likes to play with wing-backs but before their injuries Robertson and Tsimikas were in fine form so that could let Chelsea have a free run at the American international.
