Liverpool are not just looking to strengthen their midfield this summer. It seems as if they’re looking at adding another potential future superstar in their attacking ranks.

TEAMtalk report that Hamilton Academical teenager Ryan One is being chased by the some of the biggest clubs in the English Premier League. The publication namechecks Liverpool in that list and says that The Reds are fighting it out for the youngster with rivals Everton and Manchester United as well as the likes of Newcastle United, Brighton and Hove Albion, Brentford, and Bournemouth.

For those unaware of the player, One is a 16-year-old forward who is already a big part of Hamilton’s first-team squad, having played over a dozen games in the Scottish Championship – the Scottish second division. TEAMtalk report that One also had Old Firm giants Celtic and Rangers watching him too, but the chance of moving to the Premier League will prove too tempting for the player.

Although not quite ready yet for the first team at an English Premier League side, One would likely be integrated into an EPL side’s academy setup and therefore it might prove beneficial for him to move down south. If One can have a similar impact at Anfield to Ben Doak, another youngster picked up from Scotland when Liverpool brought him from Celtic, then One could certainly be a player with a bright future that The Reds would love to nurture.
