Liverpool have made an unorthodox offer using creative incentives for Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Jude Bellingham according to reports.
Bellingham is one of, if not the, most coveted players in world football today. Not only does he lead the worlds transfer value list according to the CIES Football Observatory, he also ranks as the best U-21 player in 5 categories across Europe’s top five leagues and Champions league this season. In contrast, Liverpool’s midfield this season has been slow and lethargic and is in desperate need of a high energy, all-action player like Bellingham.

While Real Madrid, who are supposedly leading the race for Bellingham’s signature, will have the financial power to meet Dortmund’s demands, they may be unable to meet some of Bellingham’s demands.
Nacional has broke the story today that Liverpool are planning to offer Bellingham a higher salary than Madrid, but also a guaranteed starter role in their team. Madrid, on the other hand, already have Modric, Kroos, Valverde, Tchouameni, and Camavinga in line and cannot offer the same role. Moreoverz according to the report, Liverpool are also looking to reunite the Bellingham family by not only bringing in Jude’s brother Jobe Bellingham into their youth setup from Birmingham City, but to also offer Jude’s father Mark Bellingham a potential role as a scout. There are no reports currently on whether Real Madrid are looking into similar offers for Jobe and Mark Bellingham as well
If Liverpool are able to seal the deal with Dortmund and Bellingham’s representatives, this would be a major coup for Klopp and would signal an upward trajectory for the club on and off the pitch.
