Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk has been named in EA Sports FIFA 23 Team of the Year, as voted by over 10 million FIFA players. Over 100 players had been voted for by fans and the team has been narrowed down to a final XI of the best players of 2022.
Van Dijk is one of only two Premier League players selected for the final XI, with Kevin De Bruyne also named in the team. Van Dijk’s new Team of the Year card which will be available in FIFA 23’s Ultimate Team mode, has received a 96 rating.
FIFA 23’s Team of the Year for 2022 is as follows;
