Liverpool youngster Ben Doak suffered a nasty blow to the head in Liverpool’s 1-0 defeat in the UEFA Youth League against Sporting Lisbon yesterday.
The young Scotsman appeared shaken up after collapsing on the pitch following the incident, which took place just 8 minutes into the game.
Doak was forced off the pitch and was unable to continue.
However, journalist Ian Doyle has provided a positive update on Doak. Doyle tweeted that all the normal concussion protocols are being followed and that Doak passed tests at pitch side during the game.
Liverpool fans will likely see the promising young midfielder back in action very soon.
