Thiago Alcantara has been linked with a move away from Liverpool since the summer transfer window and even after the European window has closed.
Thiago had been linked to Saudi Arabian, Turkish and Spanish clubs. With the European and Saudi Arabian windows closed, most assumed the player would be staying at Anfield.
However, the Turkish window does not close until September 15, with several reports linking Trabzonspor and Fenerbahce with potential moves for the Spanish midfielder.
Tonight, Thiago’s agent Alex Boesch has put and end to the rumours, stating Thiago will not be leaving Anfield this season.
Turkish publication Sports Digitale posted an exclusive statement from Boesch, who confirmed that Thiago will not be moving to Turkey.
The 32-year-old has one year left on his Liverpool deal and looks set to see out the remainder of his contract and will leave as a free agent next summer.
Thiago has yet to feature this season as he recovers from a hip injury sustained in February.
