Ex Liverpool full back, Stephen Warnock has defended FSG, beleiving that they have done a great job while at the same time balancing the books.
Just before the 7-0 win over Manchester United, a plane was seen flying a message stating “‘FSG Out – Klopp In – Enough is Enough”.
However, Warnock pointed out to the trophies won in the past few years, as well as stadium and training ground upgrades.
Speaking to Sky Sports:
“They just think that FSG should go ‘well there’s £100m or £200m, go and buy these players’, but that’s not sustainable to do that”.
“They don’t have the deep-lying pockets that other teams have. Their model works, and it works with Jurgen Klopp.”
