Mohamed Salah heaped praise on Liverpool youngster Stefan Bajcetic at full time speaking to Sky Sports.
“Since he started playing with us, he’s been our best player”, he said.
Bajcetic was clearly flattered and said ‘wow, he’s Mohamed Salah, one of the best players ever’ when asked his thoughts on the Egyptian star’s praise.
Bajcetic put in a coming of age performance and said ‘this time last year I was playing u18 football, now I’m playing at Anfield.’
‘I always love tackles’, he told Sky Sports and confidently said ‘I thought it would be less comfortable’.
It was an assured and mature performance from the youngster who has cemented his place in the Liverpool XI
