The Senegalese star has not recovered from an injury he picked up against Werder Bremen playing for Bayern Munich. The Senegalese FA have confirmed that the ex Liverpool forward will require surgery.
It is a devastating blow for both Mane and Senagal as the AFCON Champions were tipped by many to challenge some of the World’s best sides in Qatar.
