Now, Sportsbild report that Liverpool are looking to sign the Ecuador international. Moisés Caicedo, 21, is a highly rated midfielder with Liverpool and Chelsea both linked to him in the past few weeks.
Neil Jones, of GOAL.com, has also confirmed Liverpool’s interest in Moisés Caicedo via @lfctransferoom. According to Jones a deal would be difficult to do because of the transfer fee involved.
Paul Joyce of The Times has stated that Liverpool have not bid for Caidedo and believes Liverpool’s transfer business could be finished for this window:
The likelihood remains that Liverpool’s incoming deals are now done for this transfer window, barring an unexpected opportunity presenting itself. Bids were not made for Benfica’s Enzo Fernández or Brighton’s Moisés Caicedo.

Liverpool scouts are impressed by Moises Caicedo and are confident enough to lure him away given Brighton’s develop to sell policy.
However the fee of £50m+ may cause to be a stumbling block.
