Liverpool have been linked with a host of midfielders as the club is set to undergo a rebuild in the middle of the park.
James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita are set to depart the club in the summer upon the expiration of their current deals.
Liverpool will reportedly take advantage of the free transfer market, as Richard Garnett of the Liverpool Echo writes that The Reds are targeting a move for Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans.
Tielemans’s contract with Leicester expires at the end of the summer as The Foxes have failed to convince the Belgian to stay.
The report states Newcastle and Arsenal are also interested in the 25-year-old.
Tielemans on a free transfer would be a significant coup by Jurgen Klopp. The Belgian has been regarded as one of the best central midfielders in the league for several seasons.
