Reports have emerged today of Liverpool’s interest in Birmingham City midfielder George Hall, who has been touted as the “next Jude Bellingham”. Bellingham left his boyhood club Birmingham City for Borussia Dortmund in 2020.
Wayne Veysey of Football Insider reports that Liverpool and Everton are interested in the 18-year-old. Birmingham rejected a £3 million pound bid from Leeds United for Hall in the summer of 2022.
Veysey reports that Hall was given his first professional contract from Birmingham in 2021 after Hall had garnered the interest of several Premier League clubs, including Leeds, Newcastle, Brighton and Southampton.
Hall has made 18 appearances in the Championship this season but has not featured in Birmingham’s matchday squad since December.
