Eintracht Frankfurt’s Daichi Kamada has registered 13 goals and 5 assists for his club this season and is out of contract in the summer. The Japanese attacking midfielder has attracted the interest of several of Europe’s top clubs as a result.

Sean Walsh and Graeme Bailey for 90min.com write that Liverpool are one of several clubs with their eyes on Kamada. Frankfurt’s rivals Borussia Dortmund are said to be keen, as well as Barcelona and PSG.

In the Premier League, Walsh and Bailey report that Liverpool, Manchester City, Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur are all interested in acquiring the services of the 26-year old.

The amount of top clubs interested in Kamada makes sense, as signing a midfielder of his quality on a free transfer would be an absolute coup for any team.

Kamada scored two goals against Arsenal in a Europa League group game at the Emirates in November 2019 in what was Unai Emery’s last game as the Arsenal manager.

Kamada is primarily an attacking midfielder but has played deeper in midfield for Frankfurt in many games this season. The Japanese international, who has scored 6 times in 26 caps for his country, can also play on the wings. Kamada’s versatility and end product would seemingly suit a new-look Liverpool midfield perfectly, as Jurgen Klopp begins to put the pieces in place for a rebuild this summer.
