With Liverpool set to undergo a midfield rebuild in the summer, a litany of midfielders have been linked with the club. Jurgen Klopp reportedly wants to sign up to 3 midfielders before the beginning of next season.

The latest midfielder said to be in Liverpool’s radar is 20-year-old Bayern Munich man Ryan Gravenberch. The news was reported by Sport1 in Germany.

Gravenberch left Ajax last summer to join Bayern for £20 million. The Dutchman was close to joining Manchester United before ultimately choosing Munich as his destination.

Gravenberch has failed to replicate the form he had for Ajax which raised his profile significantly across Europe, only making one start in the Bundesliga in his debut season.

Kerry Hau for Sport1 reported on his podcast that Liverpool see Gravenberch as an ideal option to rejuvenate their midfield.

Hau said; “His name has been mentioned more often by those responsible.” There is no concrete interest yet, “but the situation is being examined and people around Gravenberch have already asked about him, like him as a guy.”

Hau confirms that Liverpool would want to bring in Jude Bellingham along with Ryan Gravenberch.

The midfielder has 11 senior caps for The Netherlands, an impressive feat for a 20-year-old.
