Liverpool have drawn up a list of left-footed centre back with RB Leipzig’s Joško Gvardiol leading the shortlist, according to Jacque Talbot
The report suggests that Liverpool do not believe that they will not have the financial power to sign the Croatian defender ahead of its rivals as Liverpool want to sign Jude Bellingham and Matheus Nunes also.
Talbot names Antonio Silva of Benfica, Goncalo Inacio, who’s at Sporting CP, and Jarrad Branthwaite, who is on loan at PSV Eindhoven from Everton, as the other candidates.
Talbot points out that Silva is a client of Jorge Mendes and anticipate he will get a move to England soon.
Yesterday, Christian Falk of Bild, reported that Gvardiol is ‘dreaming of Liverpool‘.
Talbot states that he has a €110M buy-out clause in his contract that runs until 2024.
