The Jude Bellingham transfer saga is not slowing down anytime soon as Liverpool, Real Madrid and Manchester City, the three main club’s who want Bellingham, fight for the young midfielder’s signature.
A report from Spanish publication Cadena SER states that Bellingham is becoming frustrated with his club Borussia Dortmund for the potentially pricing him out of a move this summer.
Dortmund have reportedly placed a price tag of €150 million on the 19-year-old.
The report states the hefty price tag is making Liverpool, Madrid and City all have second thoughts about signing Bellingham as they consider other targets.
It’s easy to understand the price tag put on Bellingham. After all, the former Birmingham City man has 10 goals and 6 assists in the Bundesliga this season and shone on the biggest stage internationally at the World Cup in Qatar.
Jason Sancho was forced to wait for an extra season before Manchester United eventually coughed up the price Dortmund wanted to part with the winger.
It will be interesting to see if clubs decide to wait until the summer of 2024 to sign Bellingham, when Dortmund’s price tag may lower slightly.
