Orkun Kocku is ‘high on the agenda’ of Liverpool’s transfer plans this summer, according to reports.
Kocku has captained Feyenoord to within touching distance of Eredivisie title this season, scoring 12 goals and registering 5 assists in all competitions.
Jacque Talbot of Football Transfers reports that Kocku is high on Liverpool’s shortlist of midfielders but that Jurgen Klopp and new sporting director Jorg Schmadtke have yet to make a move for the Turk.
Talbot writes, “FootballTransfers is told that Feyonoord’s midfielder remains high on the recruitment list but it will be down to Jurgen Klopp and new sporting director, Jorg Schmadtke, to press ahead with a move.”
In the same report, Talbot writes that Liverpool are in talks with Nice for Khephren Thuram. Lillian Thuram, legendary French defender and Khephren’s father, is negotiating on his son’s behalf.
