Paris Saint-Germain are in the news yet again due to the rumours circulating their superstar in attack that is Kylian Mbappe.
He is never really out of the news but due to the fact the transfer window is open again he his a hot topic due to the fact his current contract at PSG runs out at the end of this season.
PSG’s president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has spoken out about Mbappe’s future amid reports that Real Madrid have already reached an agreement and that Liverpool is a side that the French superstar admires.
Now he has came out and spoken about another one of the players at the French giants comparing him to a Liverpool legend.
Nasser Al-Khelaifi wants Warren Zaire-Emery to be like Steven Gerrard
Warren Zaire-Emery is just 17 years old yet he has turned into one of the most important players for Luis Enrique at PSG in midfield.
Nasser Al-Khelaifi spoke about renewing his contract and said: “He is a Parisian. He loves the club too and also wants to stay here a long time.
“Warren should become the Steven Gerrard of the club. He should spend his whole life here. He comes from here, he loves the club, loves the badge.
“He is where he is thanks to the club. He is a great boy. We have no doubts about him as a player, nor as a person, he is an example for all of the young players.”
So far in his short career Zaire-Emery has won the Ligue 1 title and the trophee des champions whilst making 51 appearances for the club scoring five goals.
He is yet to be linked with any other sides so it seems like he will continue at PSG and Al-Khelaifi would love him to have the same Champions League heroics that Gerrard did for Liverpool back in 2005.
