
Liverpool youngster Jarell Quansah has signed a loan deal with Bristol Rovers until the end of the season. The stylish centre-back has impressed for Liverpool’s youth teams captaining the under-18s team to the FA Youth Cup final in 2021.
The 19-year-old started his Liverpool career at the age of 5. He has been a leader in various youth sides at Liverpool. He is a strong commanding centre-back who is not only comfortable on the ball but he also blessed with great pace.
Quansah could play immediately for Bristol after being handed the number 5 shirt. An injury to Lewis Gibson has opened the door for Quansah to get first-team minutes early on. Speaking on his loan move he said “I can’t wait to get started” and “I’m looking forward to meeting all the lads and showing everyone what I can do.”
Quansah has made 8 appearances for England’s under-19s. He was one of England’s most impressive players during the UEFA U-19 EURO Championship win in 2022. Quansah has shown signs of promise and if his loan spell goes well in Bristol he may hope to work his way into Jurgen Klopp’s plans during Liverpool’s summer training camp.
Bristol Live reports that Quansah could make his debut against Wycombe W*anderers at the Mem on Saturday.
