The Reds travel to the south coast to face a resurgent Bournemouth side at the Vitality Stadium.

After a slow start in the Bournemouth hotseat, manager Andoni Iraola has turned things around with the Cherries.

They look to stay up this season, which is success for the Cherries.

They are currently 12th and are perhaps eyeing a top-half finish with the way things are going.

Bournemouth have won four out of their last five Premier League games, including 3-0 wins against both Fulham and Manchester United.

Additionally, Iraola has managed to transform former Liverpool man into a lethal finisher.

Solanke is only behind Mohamed Salah and Erling Haaland in terms of Premier League strikes this term.

However, the Spanish manager has a number of injuries and absentees to contend with ahead of the clash – most notably key man Lloyd Kelly.

Meanwhile, the Red have a chance to extend their lead the top of the table, with Manchester City a mere two points behind.

Premier League winner and pundit Chris Sutton has already confessed that he believes Liverpool could drop points against the Cherries.

Jurgen Klopp will likewise have injury concerns to navigate through.

The likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dominik Szoboszlai will not be fit in time for the weekend’s fixture.

Jurgen Klopp affirmed the challenge that awaits the Reds on Sunday by saying in his pre-match press conference:

“Really difficult start for him [Iraola] at Bournemouth, but they turned it around – wow.”

“That’s real coaching, they have a really good mix – they play football, they use Dom Solanke in a sensational way.”

“The way they defend really good and really compact. That’s proper. They have my respect definitely.”

Our predicted XI is as follows:

Alisson, Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk (C), Ibrahima Konate, Conor Bradley, Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch, Curtis Jones, Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo, Harvey Elliott.
