Liverpool put in a fantastic performance to claim all three points at Anfield.

Liverpool have a lot of positives to take from the game, particularly Stefan Bajcetic’s display.

Mohamed Salah heaped praise on Liverpool youngster Stefan Bajcetic at full time speaking to Sky Sports.

“Since he started playing with us, he’s been our best player”, he said.

Player ratings:

Alisson: (7) – Kept clean sheet. Rarely called upon due to his defence

Alexander-Arnold (8) – Good ball to Gakpo for Liverpools second. Stronger defensively and offered more going forward.

Gomez: (7) – Looked solid. Not much to do but did it well when called upon.

Matip: (7) – A little nervous initially but great into game and carried the ball forward well at times.

Robertson: (8) – Posed an attacking threat throught along with tireless defensive work also.

Fabinho: (6) – Improved performance. Offered defence solid cover.

Bajcetic: (9) – Man of the Match. Incredible, coming of age performance from the young man.

Henderson: (8) – Pressed well and drove the team on throughout. Much better than recent weeks.

Nunez: (8) – Looked lively and ran at Eveton defence all night. Incredible run and cross for Salah goal. Left the field to a deserved standing ovation.

Gakpo: (8) – A debut goal in a special tie. Much brighter on the ball. Improving all the time.

Salah: (8) – Best performance of the year so far. Looked lively.

Subs;

Jota: (6) – Got involved in some link up play. Great to see him back on the pitch.

Milner: (7) – Important tackle to stop Everton counter attack near the end.

Firmino: (6) Good to see him back. Not much to do.

Elliot: (6) – Came on at the end. Not much to do.

Keita: (6) – Good interception not long after coming on.
