New photographs have been released of Liverpool’s expansion of Anfield.
The expansion began in September 2021 and the set to be completed for the start of next season.
ThisisAnfield shared 11 photographs today courtesy of 3D Digital Venue. Of how unfilled will look. Jurgen Klopp will hope Liverpool have Champions League football at Anfield to host up to 61,000.
The project was given the go-ahead by Liverpool City Council in June 2021. The club also has permission to hold up to six concerts over the period of five seasons.
The extra 7000 seats will be made up of over 5000 general admission seats and 1800 sports bar lounge/hospitality facilities.

The images certainly do look impressive and we’re sure that Anfield will look better than average once the work has been complete.
