Ex-Liverpool striker Luis Suárez has signed for Brazilian side Grêmio
The club described him as “one of the greatest strikers in world football”.
Suarez 35, has signed two-year contract until the end of 2024.
Suárez was Liverpool’s top scorer in 2012 and 2013. He was named the Premier League Player of the Year in 2014 and won the League Cup in the 2011/12 season.
He went on to join Barcelona after some controversial incidents towards the end of his career at Anfield. At his best, he was an absolute genius.
He will link up with ex-team mate Lucas Leiva at Gremio.
