
Liverpool’s fourth choice goalkeeper, Marcelo Pitaluga is on the radar of AC Milan and Atletico Madrid.
That’s according to footballinsider247.com, who report the two European heavyweights sent scouts to watch him play on Monday in Liverpool U21’s.
Pitaluga played well and kept a clean sheet, as Liverpool beat rivals Arsenal 1-0.
The 20 year old Brazilian has only just recovered from ankle ligament injury.
He impressed at Macclesfield when he joined on loan last summer, keeping 11 clean sheets in 23 matches.
Pitaluga wants to play more regularly, and is looking to play for Brazil at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Currently, he’s fourth in Liverpool’s pecking order, behind Alisson, Kelleher and Adrian.
However, Adrian’s contract runs out in the summer, and Kelleher has mentioned he’s looking to play more football.
