Overall in 2023, Liverpool had a splendid 12 months as after not winning their first four league games they only lost three for the rest of the year.
They went for the top four in the 2022/23 campaign but unfortunately just missed out and so far in this season they have hit back in the best way possible as they are top of the Premier League.
As well as this, they are in the semi-final of the Carabao Cup with a lead going into the second leg, the fourth round of the FA Cup as well as the round of 16 of the Europa League after they finished top of their group.
Due to this, they had four players nominated for the EA FC 24 Team of the Year as Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil Van Dijk and Mohamed Salah all had the chance to get one of those famous blue cards.
However, Alisson and Van Dijk were the only players who got voted for enough times to get into the final starting 11 and now their cards have been revealed as the defenders are now in packs.
