The future looks bright for Liverpool as 20-year-old Tyler Morton has signed a new long-term contract with the Reds.
He has impressed in Liverpool red having a notable performance against Porto in last season’s Champions League campaign.
Morton has also looked promising during his current loan spell with Blackburn Rovers so far racking up 25 championship appearances. In doing so Rovers have a chance of a remarkable feat in claiming promotion out of the Championship for the first time since 2012.
On signing his new deal Morton said:

Since making his debut against Norwich in the Carabao cup in September 2021 he has shown signs of improvement. Morton could provide an option for Liverpool in the middle going forward but there is no doubt that Liverpool also need more experience to add to the squad immediately.
Elsewhere, Lewis Koumas has signed his first professional contract with Liverpool FC.
The striker is the u-18s top scorer this season.
His father Jason Koumas made 96 Premier League appearances in a career that included playing for West Brom and Cardiff.
