Liverpool are expected to have a busy summer period with a squad overhaul at the top of Jurgen Klopp’s priority list, with the ageing squad showing signs of wear and tear.
Results have been on the poorer side for Klopp’s side, but their most recent outing against Manchester United showcased the talent they have at their disposal.
Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez were all in fine form, which leaves Jota’s future at the club up in the air.
As a result, they might offload Diogo Jota to accommodate new plans.
Liverpool have priced the Portugal international out at £62m, according to Football Transfers.
The forward has had a far from ideal campaign at Liverpool and his game time has suffered due to the new recruits being favoured by German boss Klopp.
His arrival from Premier League side Wolves was hailed as top business as he managed to bag 15 goals last campaign.
Jota has much more to give and will be hoping to stick around as Liverpool begin to find their feet again but may not earn sufficient game time.
With the summer window fast approaching and competition for places fierce, Jota may find a move elsewhere will be beneficial for all parties involved.

With Nunez and Gakpo struggling in attack, Jota is definitely not for sale at any price!
