The Jude Bellingham transfer saga lives on with David Lynch revealing the latest on Liverpool’s continued pursuit of the Borussia Dortmund midfielder.
The Reds are still eager for the English youngster to join them in the summer, according to Football Insider.
Joining them in the race are reigning Premier League champions, Manchester City, and La Liga giants Real Madrid, both of which are gunning for Dortmund’s most prized possession.
Two years remain on Bellingham’s contract, with no release clause included, meaning that the German outfit are expecting a fee of around £126m in order to let go of their midfield man.
Liverpool’s financial status has led to the suggestion that the teenager is out of their reach and that the Merseysiders are no longer in the race for his signature.
Football Insider, however, has debunked this statement and stated that Bellingham is still an active target on Klopp’s list as they plan ahead for a summer squad revamp.
The Englishman seems best suited to Liverpool’s current status, with regular game time nailed on, as opposed to being an interchangeable asset at other clubs.
