A few weeks ago Sam Wallace writing for The Telegraph stated that Liverpool are set to sign Matheus Nunes in the summer for a deal worth €50M (£44m).
Wallace wrote:
“Liverpool made a commitment to go back for the 24-year-old, an attacking midfielder, and as things stand a deal will be agreed at around €50 million (£44 million) for him to join in the summer.”
Today, football journalist Ben Jacobs provided a further update speaking to Redmen TV:
“I think there is something to it and from sources, it appears that Liverpool have started that process of trying to get this one done with a view to the summer. The only complication is that he’s new to Wolves and they have a brand new manager as well and that can change the dynamic”, Jacobs said.
