Liverpool fans have had a field day with the tweet, with many fans replying with the Liverpool 7, Man United 0 scoreboard.

It has been picked up by many of the banter football accounts including Troll Football, who quote tweeted “Your club Manchester United”
Since the 7-0 rout, some Manchester United players have taken to Twitter to apologize for the performance.
