Creativity in Liverpool’s team this season has been underwhelming to say the least.
To overcome this issue, according to The Metro, Liverpool are closely monitoring the situation with creative midfielder, Mason Mount.
In his past two seasons, he has won player of the year at Chelsea.
Mason Mount to Liverpool appears to be a very realistic possibility. It would be interesting to see how fans on both sides of the deal feel about it #LFC #CFC pic.twitter.com/qti2Uj87eP

Last season, his Premier League statistics were great, scoring 10 goals and assisting 10 times.
However, this campaign he has struggled to find form, scoring 3 goals and assisting twice.
Mount is currently in contract negotiations with Chelsea, with the two parties unable to work out a deal.
Chelsea are terrified of letting the academy player leave on a free in 18 months time, meaning he could be sold in the summer.
Liverpool are not the only club interested in Mount, with Newcastle United, Manchester City and Manchester United linked to the England international – but the Metro suggest that Liverpool are leading the race and sources close to Mount have suggested a move to Merseyside is ‘highly likely’.
Mount would be a much cheaper alternative to Bellingham, and if he able to get back to his best, the deal would be a coup for Liverpool.
