Liverpool head to the Vitality Stadium Saturday to face relegation candidates Bournemouth.
Don’t let their league position fool you as it took Arsenal 96 minutes to break down the South Coast defence, and they will be looking to pounce on Liverpool to earn those sacred points.
Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez will be key parts of Klopp’s puzzle when they make their way down south in search for the full share of the spoils.
In his pre-match press conference, Klopp ushered praise for both of Liverpool’s attacking recruits and commented on how well they have settled in.
“For Cody, it went really quickly. His contribution is obvious – same for Darwin and Luis, Diogo. Scouting can never be perfect but you only really know a player when they are around, but we were really spot on in these moments.”
Being a Liverpool player is difficult because you are asked for so much and the preparation before, after and during a game may seem like it’s never-ending.
Both Gakpo and Nunez have begun to find their feet in England and are relishing the opportunity to play under Klopp’s close watch.
