As Jurgen Klopp looks ahead to a clash against Bournemouth, he will want his players to build on the confidence that they left with when they put seven past Manchester United last time out.
In a pre-match press conference, Klopp commented on Liverpool’s transfer strategy:
“If you have a look at the last couple of transfer windows: Luis, Darwin, Cody,”
“Sadio, Mo, Bobby were the best in the world, but now we have just Mo (staying), and we have replaced them.”
The German understands that football is cyclical and that the replacement of talent is key to remaining at the top of the game.
A big summer is pending for the Reds and with a rebuild on the horizon, Liverpool supporters can expect an exodus to be imminent.
