Jurgen Klopp spoke to the media ahead of Liverpool’s game against Newcastle tomorrow evening.
Klopp had a lot of praise for Newcastle manager Eddie Howe: “Eddie has made Newcastle a proper threat for everyone. It is a really difficult place to go.”
The Liverpool boss described the tie as a “massive game”
Massive game. We have to chase everybody. We have to give it a try and that’s what we do. Newcastle, best defence in the league. Lost once and that was against us. Very consistent. First step for success. It will be interesting.”
Klopp signed out Miguel Almirón for special praise.
“I always like Almiron and the way they are playing now suits him.”
