Juventus have released their financial statements and included in those are details around Arthur’s loan move to Liverpool.
Last week we reported that Arthur’s representative stated that his client will remain at Liverpool for the upcoming window.
“In January he remains at Liverpool, 100%.
“It’s something that has never been in question, I don’t know who has questioned the rumours about his possible return to Turin but it’s not like that, absolutely.”
Arthur has made just one competitive appearance for Liverpool. A second half cameo in Naples in the Champions League.
Juventus have revealed that Liverpool paid a loan fee of €4.5M for Arthur’s loan with an option to buy of €37.5M.
It is unlikely that Jurgen Klopp will take up on that option.
Interestingly the accounts also show that Chelsea paid a loan fee of just €3M for Denis Zakaria with a buy option of just €28M.
That looks like a bargain for the London club as Zakaria has worked his way into their team.
