Jurgen Klopp spoke to Sky Sports at full time:
“Yeah, not perfect (Fabinho’s absence) but again we of course we’ve played in that formation, we can do that. It’s just us with the start that the early goal, that’s obviously not helpful to to get some kind of momentum in the game. And then you, you really could see the impact it had because we conceded a goal from a goal kick because we were too deep. The reaction I would have loved to see what they are higher, we go higher up and have to challenges in other spaces. By the reaction, I won’t say passive, but we stepped rather back. It is not helpful.
So that’s what you try to change then in the game. And again, it was now in a lot of moments, we was really good, but in some decisive moments not. So we they had still their moments, but we have obviously massive chances again.
So really good, really good football moments the chance from Mo more was brilliantly set up by Darwin. Darwin’s chance and all this kind of things. So, unlucky moments as well. If we win this 3-1 or 4-1 that could have happened as well.
The game is still the same, to be honest. And that’s what we take. It’s it’s our job, but it’s not about that we sit down in the dressing room and have a party and think ‘Oh my god, we cannot play better’.
We are self critical, and we have a few days time to turn a few screws and that is what we will do.”
