Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp may refuse to do interviews with the BBC for today’s matchday with Bournemouth in an act of solidarity with Match of the Day host Gary Lineker.
The news was reported by The News Agents host Emily Maitlis on Twitter.
Lineker recently stepped back form hosting duties on the iconic program until an agreement was reached with the BBC on Lineker’s social media use.
Klopp’s boycott of the BBC in the opening match of the weekend would certainly send a powerful message of support for Lineker.
