In an interview with German publication Sportsbild Jurgen Klopp was asked about Jude Bellingham and if there has been any contact with his family:
“These things are not possible because he is under contract with Borussia Dortmund and that is not possible without their consent,
So it’s not true.”
“Jude is a great player who we are familiar with, of course. We’d be stupid not to have him on our radar”, Klopp added.
“But there’s nothing more to say at the moment.”
Klopp spoke at length to the outlet and also discussed Liverpool’s top four chances:
“Reaching the Champions League is of course extremely important for us. That’s insanely difficult.”
“People are a bit spoiled there because we’ve mostly made it early in recent years.”
“I was aware that it is currently a transitional period. That’s why the club and I agree that I’ll stay behind the wheel and that we’ll look at the whole thing in the medium to long term.”
