Liverpool have just one win in their last seven games and fell to the bottom half of the league table after a 3-0 defeat to Wolves at the weekend. As a result, some have questioned Jurgen Klopp’s long-term future at the club.

The Athletic reported today that the Liverpool board have no interest in entertaining discussions about sacking Jurgen Klopp. The German is trusted by the board and the owners to turn things around. Since his arrival in 2015, Klopp has won every major honor in English football and boasts a 60% win-rate, making him the most successful manager in the club’s history.

The general mood among Liverpool supporters is one of support and admiration for Klopp. The German has earned more than enough credit with the Kop for all he has achieved in the last seven years. By winning the club a sixth European cup and winning Liverpool’s first ever Premier League, Klopp has achieved legendary status at Anfield.

Supporters are eager for Klopp to be given the funds to rebuild the side in the summer and breathe new life into an aging team. Klopp’s current Liverpool contract runs until 2026.
