Mohamed Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai are two hugely important players in this Liverpool team.
The Hungarian has made his impact on Anfield felt immediately, with his work rate and determination already endearing him to the Anfield faithful.
Meanwhile, it’s believed that Dominik Szoboszlai was in Hungary earlier this week to a specialist from his RB Leipzig days.
However, it’s believed that the specialist was unable to pinpoint the exact cause of the reoccurrence of Szoboszlai’s injury.
Now the German has revealed that Szoboszlai may not even be back for the cup final against Chelsea later this month.
What did Jurgen Klopp say about Dominik Szoboszlai?
Speaking in his pre-Burnley press conference, the German manager gave the injury update.
“Dom is running outside at the moment in the winter rain. He’s not ready for tomorrow.”
“Then we have to see. It’s always the case with these tendon [injuries] – very quickly players are pain-free. “
“It’s pretty much the same[injury] as he had before, that’s obviously really not good that he got that again.
“He didn’t feel a big issue but when you see it [the injury] on the pictures then you have to take him out.”
“Will he return for Brighton or the final? I don’t know at the moment.”
