Liverpool earned an emphatic 3-0 victory against Aston Villa this afternoon, with goals from Dominik Szoboszlai, Mohamed Salah and an own goal from Villa defender Matty Cash sealing the win.
However, supporters were concerned Trent Alexander-Arnold, who had played an incredible game, was forced with off with an apparent hamstring injury in the 71st minute.
Liverpool’s website announced after the game that Alexander-Arnold will undergo a scan to discover the full extent of the issue.
Jurgen Klopp played down concerns that the injury was serious in his post-match interview but the full-back will need to undergo assessment during the international break.
Klopp spoke on the injury and said, “I don’t know exactly. I asked him, he said it’s [his] hamstring.
“’Not too serious’ is his opinion, but we obviously have to wait for the scans and then we will know more.”
