Jordan Henderson has given a candid interview to BT Sport ahead of Liverpool’s game against Chelsea. The Liverpool skipper has stated, “I’d be lying if I said it hasn’t been hard.”
Henderson hasn’t been able to find his best form since he returned from Qatar, despite some impressive performances for England at the World Cup.
The Liverpool captain admitted he has found it difficult:
“Looking back it probably took a lot more out of us than I thought. The last few weeks, energy levels, general mood has been really difficult looking back over the last few weeks to perform to the levels I am capable of any need to be at to play for this team. it has been tough, there is no other option, I have to keep going.”
