Liverpool play host to Norwich City in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday after progressing to the Carabao Cup final in midweek.
The Reds led 2-1 from the first leg and their 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage against Fulham was enough to get the job done and set up a Wembley final against Chelsea on 25 February.
Norwich, on the other hand, were 3-1 winners away to Bristol Rovers in their FA Cup third-round replay to set up this fourth-round clash but suffered a 1-0 defeat to Leeds United midweek in their latest outing.
The most recent encounter between the two teams took place in the FA Cup, where Liverpool secured a 2-1 victory at Anfield during the fifth round in March 2022.
Takumi Minamino netted two goals for the Reds, while Lukas Rupp managed to score one for the Canaries in a hard-fought contest.
Liverpool could welcome Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson, and Dominik Szoboszlai back to their squad for the game at Anfield.
Alexander-Arnold, Robertson, and Szoboszlai were on the sidelines for some weeks but returned to full training and are expected to be available for the clash.
Klopp told his pre-match press conference on Thursday afternoon: “Robbo is physically ready and I think it was good to have him in the matchday squad, and he’s completely in the normal team training schedule.
“Like Dom from tomorrow on. He had yesterday a session, today I think he has a day off as well and then from tomorrow on he is in completely normal. That means he is obviously ready for minutes.
“With Trent, is it already Norwich or is it the game after? We have to see. He was not in team training, not even parts of team training yet, so if he can be in tomorrow then I have to make a decision there.”
Thiago Alcantara, Stefan Bajcetic, Ben Doak, Joel Matip, and Kostas Tsimikas all remain sidelined for the Reds.
Mohamed Salah returned to Merseyside for his intensive rehabilitation programme on the injury he suffered at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, while Wataru Endo has led Japan to the last 16 of the Asian Cup.
