Liverpool had a big rebuild in the summer with all incomings being midfielders as Jurgen Klopp looked to reshape his side after a below-par campaign.

So far it is working very well as Liverpool sit at the top of the Premier League, they are through to the fourth round of the FA Cup whilst being in the round of 16 in the Europa League as well as being 90 minutes away from the Carabao Cup final.

They have been linked with several more players in the January transfer window but due to the fact they are doing so well, it looks unlikely that Jurgen Klopp will make a move for anyone.

There is one player that he was a fan of who will be on the move in this current transfer window though.

Florian Neuhaus is on the verge of leaving Borussia Monchengladbach

Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus is looking for a move away from Borussia Monchengladbach according to German journalist Florian Plettenburg.

The 26-year-old was strongly linked with a move to Liverpool in 2o21 and he was even rumoured to still be wanted by the club in the summer when they were rebuilding their midfield.

It appears that he will now finally be on the move from the Bundesliga with Napoli contacting Monchengladbach for the midfielder.

As well as them other Italian sides Roma and Lazio are interested in the German international as well as Sevilla from the La Liga.

He wants to play regularly as he is fit and ready so the fact he isn’t has made him unhappy at the club that signed him back in 2017.

His ship with Liverpool seems to have sailed as the club have plenty of midfielders at the club at the moment who are in fine form even though some are injured.

Liverpool should have Dominik Szoboszlai, one of their most important players who they signed from the Bundesliga, back for their next game against Bournemouth.
